We often hear something along these things at the studio…“So, can you tell me how to get started?” “How often should I do GST?”
In reality, there are different answers to these questions depending on your individual situation. So for today, I’m going to focus on what your practice should look like if you are seeking to start getting back in shape, are not injured but still have aches and pains that you would like to get rid of, or want in general just to feel healthier.
Ideally, we recommend:
- 2-3 classes a week, focusing on Anti-Aging or Movement Medicine classes, or specifically CC Stretch classes. *These could be done at our studio in LA or selected from the Online Studio library. If you are practicing at home, focus on the Anti-Aging and Movement Medicine videos.
- 2 outdoor/lifestyle cardio activities per week. Think hiking or swimming versus something like the treadmill.
Especially if you are practicing GST in person at our studio, we recommend adding on a private session approximately every 6 weeks that can be tailored more specifically towards your needs and allow for a check in. We can also do online sessions for people who wish to check in from a distance, just contact us for details.
