MORE THAN SKIN DEEP

While we’re culturally-conditioned to see hydration as more of a skincare buzzword, hydration is an element of holistic health that works from the inside out. Yes, keep chugging eight cups a day, but let’s take a look at why that’s just the beginning and what fascia has to do with it (Hint: everything.)

STAY FLUID

The CTS and fascia use water to inform all your body’s metabolic activity – how efficiently your blood circulates, supplies nutrients, eliminates toxins, how your lymph flows, food digests and inflammation decreases. 

With hollow-like tubing, fascia also irrigates and lubricates your entire body through activated hydro-liquid type pumps that take that internal motion and ricochet it into external motion we see as body movement. Through water, movement swishes fresh energy in and flushes toxins out of your systems. That’s why when you’re not hydrated, you turn a fluid into more of a solid. You feel crunchy. You stiffen up. The fibers contract and then they can’t spread out to collect information, so the tighter your fascia, the less alive you are.

THE FOURTH DIMENSION

What is it about water that makes it arguably one of the most, if not the most, essential biochemical nutrients for our bodies? Recent research has revealed a fourth state to water – not solid, not liquid, not vapour – but gel. It’s denser, more oxygenated than liquid water. It carries a negative charge to counter the positive charge of liquid, much like a battery, and the polarity is what produces energy in us. Since water slides in and out of form, not only can we measure the switch from liquid to gel, but the change in electromagnetic force gives us more energy by boosting water’s naturally life-giving properties.

As if that wasn’t enough, the gel water molecules have unique crystalline structures that act like a tuning fork that sync into coherence all your frequencies and vibrations. When they start moving together, the unison creates a change in resonance and brings us to the utmost responsibility of hydration: Vitality.

Vitality is a gauge of how much life force you have (measuring someone’s vitals is a literal test of vitality) and how efficient your body is at regulating the energetics of all our systems. At GST, we harp on the relationship between hydration and motion because your vitality depends on both to produce energy.

EAT YOUR WATER

Another element of hydration rests in the more obvious and external: diet. We need a high plant-based, in-season diet with tons of bioavailable nutrients and variation to give us more water to break down our food into real energy. This kind of consumption lifts metabolism and detoxifies which winds up naturally flushing toxins and lowering inflammation in your body. Too often in diet culture, we demonize a substance like carbs or fat because we’re only looking at the chemical nutrition and not the water element. This is where GST Hydraulic Health really takes the reins. 

THE CLASS & PROGRAM

GST Hydraulic Health at its bare bones is clean living, plain and simple. It’s a resetting of all your natural physical reflexes of hunger, thirst, motion and breath so you can truly feel your way through making authentic choices and decisions for your body, and in turn your life.
